We hear it all the time, why me? Why did it happen? Why, why? If you’re not careful, you might start blaming God. Our Heavenly Father has only good things for us. The problem is we are so focused on our problems and living our every day life that we lose sight or worst have no knowledge of the promises of Christ. You have to step away from your situation. Pick up your Bible and discover the good news…and bad news. Yes, there are bad news. You will see many “If you do this, you can have this. ” The good news is…that is the old covenant. God replaced it with a new covenant. We no longer have to rely on ourselves. We can’t do it anyway so just accept Jesus as your lord and savior. What’s so amazing is we automatically become righteous. Many of us including me thought only the holiest are righteous men and women. But no, the minute we accepted Jesus we were elevated to be in right standing with God or in other words we became righteous. And it comes with benefits Psa 103:2-5. Remember when we started a new job, we always asked HR when do we get paid, when our health insurance kick-in, how many vacation and sick leave do we get. In God’s Kingdom, Jesus paid for our soul 2000 years ago. It comes with the whole package of healing, wisdom, prosperity and blessings. Let God do his job of supplying all our needs. You’ll be surprised your wants may not be God’s best. Trust him. You’re in good hands. Till next time.
